Candidates for admission must give evidence of acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, good Christian character, and a sincere desire to win others to Him.
Membership in an evangelical Protestant church and agreement with the Institute¡¯s doctrinal statement are also required.
A bachelor¡¯s degree or its equivalent from an acceptable college or university is required. (Equivalency is 130 hours of accredited academic work.)

All applicants to Moody Graduate School are evaluated for admission on the basis of the following four criteria:
1. Official transcripts from degree-granting school
2. Personal ministry history
3. Character references
4. Statement of purpose for applying to the program
Each student must provide transcripts verifying a 2.75 grade point average (on a scale of 4.0).
Nationals from non-English-speaking countries as well as permanent residents, foreign-born American residents, and international students, for whom English was not the first language, must take the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) and achieve a minimum score of 550 paper-based and 213 computer-based.
5. GRE or MAT is not required.

THE SELF-MANAGED APPLICATION PACKET
Admission decisions are based on an evaluation of all required materials submitted in support of the application. A candidate who wishes to be considered must submit the following items to the Admissions Office:
1. A completed application for admission
2. A nonrefundable application fee
3. An autobiographical sketch form
4. A doctrinal qualification for students form
5. Official college transcripts
6. A pastor¡¯s reference
7. Two Christian friends¡¯ references (male friend and female friend)
